About Us
We exist to provide schools, districts, parents and students with resources for better education.
When teachers lack self-efficacy and effective teaching strategies, students may feel ill-prepared for college and careers. We help build the gaps between teachers and students by coaching teachers and tutoring students. We know that teachers can be the difference between enjoying a class and despising content. From the student struggling with math to curbing recidivism and helping students with reentry regarding marketable skills, we work with those willing to excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. Overall, students need to show better understanding of the content and teachers need to teach better. We are here to play our part.
Our coaches…
have relevant degrees and experience, already teach in schools, maintain integrity and can help you and your teachers better understand how to implement power standards into your teaching with greater effectiveness. Not everyone can teach math well (and some teachers, including some with single subject math credentials, have a problem translating math to students). We can help.
Our tutors…
reinforce your learning styles and answer questions you wish your teacher could take the time to explain better. Maybe you are good at math, but there are some parts you wish you understood better. It’s possible you just want to impress someone in class. Got it. We’ll adjust to you so that you can adjust to the content easier.
Our events…
are tailored toward an interactive experience that allows you to explore depths of math at your own pace. This includes some combination of hands on projects, understanding of how to communicate using math and application with accessible tools.
